My name is Randy Rodrigue, and I've been a resident of Waterville for nearly 30 years. I am dedicated to the industry. I have enjoyed my cosmetology career for over 13 years. I attended and graduated from Pierre's School of Cosmetology in 2004. I was excited to begin my journey at one of the finest Salons in the Central Maine area: Agora Hair Gallery & Day Spa. I learned all areas of the salon and spa business including precision cutting, coloring, color corrections, chemical texturizing, bridal and prom dress work, waxing, spa manicures, spa pedicures, and salon management. Continual education has become important to me, and I have attended many educational classes with these top company brands, keeping up with the latest fashion trends and reviewing the classics: Redken, Paul Mitchel, L'Oréal proffessional, Swartsquof, Farouk Chi,Aquage, Surface, Matrix, Tigi, MalibuC, Kenra Professional and many more. I am committed to learning new parts of the industry through these training classes, changing with the industry because life can change and so can your needs. I joined Couture Styles as a business partner in February 2014 and have enjoyed the rewarding challenges of owning and sharing a business. I also enjoy teaching new team members the necessary skills for this industry and for life; seeing them succeed is extremely important and rewarding to me. Most recently I have pursued a longtime dream of mine: opening up my very own Salon Renū & Co., with the goal to create a friendly, welcoming, and exceptionally professional environment. Salon Renū is, I believe, unique: here you can come and enjoy your experience, you can feel comfortable communicating your needs, and respectfully critique us for the purpose of future mutual improvements. Simply put: Relax and be awesome! I specialize in a broad range of techniques from hair coloring and color correction to precision cutting. I've often been told that I look like an artist painting on color from whatever pallet we choose, or sculpting the hair as I lift it up and view it from all different angles snipping away. My mission is to always give you the absolute best style that flatters your features, and to pamper you with spa treatments or a listening ear to help you feel wonderful. With the styling provided it is also important to myself and our team that we teach you how to care for your hair, giving that special look special longevity. Aside from this industry I embark on learning new things related to a healthy mind, family affairs, fitness, trail running, practicing music, volunteering, and refurbishing junk into jewels.

I love being a hairstylist because I feel like you can really change someone's day
for the better. A client could come in
having a horrible day, but after their
service, feel amazing. I love being able to
educate my clients through every step of the process enabling them to confidently
